  • Our Lab Associate, Liam Shorrock (‘14) and the Kristen Butin (’12) were married in January at the Sacred Heart Chapel.  Kristen will graduate from the LMU Law School program in May.
  • Big congrats to Felicia Arriola (’14), graduate of NTLS/HHSC, and current LMU assistant volleyball coach on being named by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) as a 2016 Top 30 under 30!
  • Alum Meghan Jonikas (’15) is helping to plan the Venice Family Clinic Art Walk and Auction event to raise funds to further support of health care for the homeless and low income people of our Los Angeles community.  To learn more visit and/or volunteer, visit theveniceartwalk.org.
  • Our own Stephanie Perez (’10) married Joe Beaudion December 31st.
  • Tegan Hayek, (’15) has enrolled in the Doctorate in Physical Therapy program at Columbia University this fall.
  • Daniel Echeverry, (’14), has enrolled in the Doctorate in Physical Therapy program at St. Augustine’s, San Marcos this fall.
  • Alex Rendon, (‘08 NTLS and Spanish), has started the Physician Assistant program at Lenoir Rhyne University in North Carolina.
  • Katie Brockert, (’12), has enrolled in the Doctorate in Physical Therapy program at St. Augustine’s in Austin, TX.
  • Tim Harkins, (’13), enrolled in the Physician Assistant program at Pacific University.
  • Charlotte Vance (‘12) recently received a Master’s Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Loma Linda University, where her research group won the School of Allied Health Professions research study of the year award with their study titled “The Effects of Vitamin C on Cortisol Reduction Post-Exercise in High Intensity Trained Athletes.” She has taken a job at Northwestern University where she is a sports dietitian.
  • Jenni Low (’12) graduated with a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Pacific University and is now working with children with special needs at the Bridge School in the Bay Area and older adults at Peninsula Post-Acute skilled nursing facility.
  • LMU Seaver College is opening a new Master’s program in Healthcare Systems Engineering.
