Technical skill, school spirit and creativity were vital components in successfully completing a senior electrical engineering assignment for Barbara Marino, associate professor of electrical engineering. Grouped into four different teams, the students were assigned to build circuits to generate the frequencies needed to play each note in the LMU fight song.
“In lieu of a report, I had the students create a music video, playing the fight song on their keyboards,” Marino said. Here is what they came up with:
Team 1 consisted of Justin Aleman, Jacob Baba, Sean Fukunaga, and Andres Lazo.
Team 2 consisted of Ethan Fujioka, Josh Burger, Steve Ceniceros, and Ocean Zhang.
Team 3 consisted of Scott McDonald, Seann Lau, and Chris Bugarin.
Team 4 consisted of Noah Verke, Sylvana Santos, and Brandon Blau.
