Alumni News:

  • Koyya Lewis-Trammell (‘13) has authored a chapter in the upcoming publication Cambridge Handbook of Cyber Behavior titled, “Electronic Activity Monitoring Systems for Physical Activity Promotion”.
  • Lauren Sutherlin (’17) will begin work toward a Masters in Healthspan and Longevity at USC this fall.
  • Olivia Abdoo (’18) graduated from California State University, Long Beach with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy and will begin a Sports Medicine Residency at Duke University this summer.
  • Cara Buenaventura, (’18) is currently in the Master of Physician Assistant Studies Program at University of Charleston in West Virginia.
  • Marc Moreno (’18) has been accepted into the Duke Doctorate of Physical Therapy program and will begin studies this fall.
  • Fiona Shorrock (’18) has begun work toward a Master’s of Science in Nursing at Johns Hopkins University.
  • Michelle Bang (‘19) is now a Personal Training and Group Fitness Instructor at Evolution Physical Therapy and Fitness in Playa Vista.
  • Makala Connor (’19) will begin work toward a Masters of Public Health in Health Behavior and Health Education at the University of Michigan this fall.
  • Christina Truong (’19) was accepted into Western University’s Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies and will begin the program in August.
  • Brooke Beermann (’20) will begin work on a Masters of Public Health at Columbia University this fall.
  • Petros Hadjikyriacou, (’20) is beginning a Masters of Science in Kinesiology program and is a graduate Strength and Conditioning assistant at University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota.
  • Kayci Smith (’20) will begin work toward her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of Utah this fall.
  • Amenah Awawdeh (’21) will begin her studies toward a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies at Creighton University this fall.
  • Sienna Baldwin (‘21) was accepted into the Masters of Science in Athletic Training program at California State University, Fullerton and will begin her studies this summer.
  • Sierra Bartley (’21) will begin studies toward a Masters of Business Administration at Seattle University this fall.
  • David Beaird (’21) will begin studies toward a Masters in Nutrition and Human Performance at Logan University this fall.
  • Francesca Briones (’21) accepted a Teach for America position and will be teaching in the Dallas/Fort Worth, TX area.
  • Alyssa Cheung (’21) was accepted into the Doctorate in Physical Therapy program at USC and will start this fall.
  • Alexis Cordova (‘21) accepted a Teach for America position in Las Vegas, NV.
  • Dana Eitan (‘21) was accepted into the MD program at Creighton University to begin studies in the fall of 2021.
  • Leonardo Garcia Cerecedo (’21) will begin work toward a Masters of Science in Healthcare Systems Engineering at LMU this fall.
  • Daniella Janfaza (’21) was accepted into the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry and will begin work this fall.
  • Ramona Khanna (’21) was accepted into the Georgetown Medical school and will begin her studies in the fall.
  • Kayla Quiroz (’21) will begin work toward a Masters of Science in Healthcare Systems Engineering at LMU this fall.
